A Celebration of 40 Years Together

After thinking about all of the dear friends and family who are such an important part of our parents' lives, and have shared so many wonderful times together, we knew we needed to find a way to include everyone in honoring and celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. We decided that a blog could be the perfect way to let everyone send their well-wishes and congratulations, share stories and photos, and just say a few words. So please join us in verbally toasting (or roasting!) our beloved parents, Isaac & Jessica.

A long and winding road...

Dear Isaac and Jessica,

In 1968 who would have imagined congratulatory "blogs" would be coming your way on your 40th anniversary. August, 1968. I remember it well...Jane and Ronnie got married (and remain married). Franz and I married (August 4th) and drifted apart two children later.

So, there you both are, the Camelot couple of the Jacobson family. So beautiful, youthful, and radiant in the picture! I hope you feel this good on the inside.

It is always a joy to see you at family gatherings and I wish I could see more of you and your children.

May your happy marriage continue to soften the "slings and arrows of outrageous fortune" and to heighten the joy of life's many blessings.
